2 1/2 cups Mozzarella, shredded
2 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup almond flour (excellent)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup cooked with cooked bacon
1/2 cup crushed Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian spice
Garlic butter sauce:
1/4 cup brown butter
4 cloves, finely ground
1/2 cup fresh, chopped parsley
Grease a medium cast iron skillet with oil, butter or cooking oil and set aside. In a shallow dish combine parmesan and Italian seasoning.
Melt Mozzarella and cream cheese in a large bowl for one minute in the microwave. Mix well with a spatula until smooth.
Combine melted cheese, eggs, baking powder, almond flour and bacon. Stir until smooth.
Let the dough rise: With well-placed hands, shape the dough into a ball and lightly coat with virgin olive oil. Place it in a large container, top the container with plastic wrap and place it in a sunny place so that it rises to double its size.
Quarter the dough and turn it into sides: When the dough is doubled in size, cut it into four.
Place 2 large baking sheets and cover them with silicone liner or parchment paper (parchment paper and other baking paper).
Working with one piece at a time, turn it into a rough 4 × 5-inch rectangle.
Cut the rectangles of the dough into strips: Using a sharp knife or pizza wheel, cut each rectangle into strips (4 x 5-inches).
Cut these strips in half. Now you should have 8 strips (1 x 2.5-inches).
Form knots: Take one piece at a time and use it as a snake. Then tie a knot in it.
Remove the cast iron skillet from the refrigerator. Bake the knots for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
Freely sprinkle the baked Keto Butter Knots with garlic and serve.
